Guest guest
HI there. Yes, when I took Restoril it really made my RLS kick in. And it did not help me sleep at all except for the first initial night. That seems to be the way I react to medications however. The restoril almost acted the same way that a cold medication does such as sudafed. I asked my doctor and of course.. they were stumped. But.. then again.. if I want to stay up for 48 hours.. all I need is a teaspoon of Nyquil. Evidently, I was the same as a child when my parents gave me actifed. I think we just all react differently. If it works for you then God speed! I hope you find some relief! in Atlanta
Guest guest
Ed: Thanks for the reply and information on Restoril. However, I apparently wasn't clear in my initial posting, because I wasn't referring to how Restoril exacerbates *my* RLS, but, rather, to 's message where she made that comment. Sorry for the confusion. My interest was derived from the fact that I'd just started Restoril (30mg.) due to insomnia caused by Mirapex. I should also mention that my doc told me to limit my use of Restoril to no more than 5 days a week, presumably to prevent the development of tolerance to the drug. Unfortunately, that also prevents me from taking Mirapex on those nights, due to the aforementioned insomnia.
