Guest guest
Hi Cathy, Peggie here. I really don't think it is the doctor at all. I've had them done by at least 5 different doctors - maybe more. And they all hurt like hadies. I think that again this is something that affect each of us differently. For me, and I have no muscles at all from the knees down, the electricity running through each nerve or muscle or whatever they run it through was a stabbing shooting killing pain, and the higher the volt, the more the pain. Even the Nerve Conduction Study for me is very painful - the jolts. I don't know if our nerves can be different or not in the way that CMT affects us, but maybe that has something to do with it? I have no idea. But, am glad it didn't bother you and Kat! I can add, that every different doctor that gave me the tests each told me that it didn't hurt! And most said they had never had a patient that it was painful to. Weird, Hun?
