Guest guest
I feel that for me it is essential that I learn all I can about CMT. Just since starting this group I have learned that CMT affects so many so differently. That puzzles me, because I originally thought all CMT is the same! So I am humbled. The more I can learn about CMT the more I feel I will be better able to 1) take care of myself and 2) communicate my needs. And maybe somewhere in there, teach some non-CMT people about CMT! (so much for humility!) Gretchen
Guest guest
Dear Gretchen, I agree with your letter about learning as much as I can about this crazy disease we have. I have truely found that this group has satified my needs. I learn so much everytime I read my mail, that sometimes I think I know more than my doctors about CMT. I have passed on much information to them. They seem to appreciate it. Yesterday, my neurologist called and asked me for the address of where I get my information, because she just dignosed a man with CMT, and he is really confused as how to proceed in his life. How nice, to be able to spare someone the frustration of not knowing. Anyway, Blessings to all, Michele
