Guest guest
Hi, I personally E-mailed Tomy apologizing for not having sent him my file on Mirapex/ Requip when I now remember, he pleaded for help. Tomy, I must be in a real fog as I understand better then anyone, as a signicant other, how tough RLS is on the one who feels so helpless as they see the profound suffering that takes place; my mother is 81. who started this group originally, if I remember correctly, got going on it trying to find information just like I and Tomy are doing trying to find help his mother. After beating our heads up against the wall with three neurologists, I decided to form a support group locally figuring that would bring others who each would know a little something that would help and all together, we would do better tackling the RLS monster. Guess what, it bring in a wealth of information and insights! Stick around; we are going to empower you and your mother against this monster Tomy! I think I did send you a post that my Mom was being helped by Mirapex, etc., etc. and just didn't fully put it together. Please forgive me. For newcomers or if you have not yet, I suggest you go by and read Dr. Elaty's INFORMATION ON RLS: he makes mince meat of a difficult subject in organizing the possible underlying causes that need checking out and then working from least harmful or side effects on up with virtually every treatment available. Plus below are other sites recommended by Dr. Elaty that you visit. The comments are his; I just pasted them in. I will also post it shortly so you have no excuses for not reading it!
