It's been awhile since I read anything about it until you posted. Sort of sounds like it is going 'behind closed doors' for awhile. I feel so sad for the poor boy who died. And I felt sick to my stomach in learning some of the gene therapy reserach info and data was falsified. And oh boy, yes, it DOES affect us with CMT! CMT is piggybacked to ALS for government funding purposes.
