Guest guest
I know the minute one of us says there is too much mail coming through on the support group, at least a dozen will reply that it's easy enough to hit the delete button. True. And I do it often. But the excessive load takes a lot of time to download. This morning, by 11 AM my time (Mountain Standard) I had 59 letters. (three were personal, the rest RLS) I had emptied the mail box last night at midnight. Before I got those 59 downloaded, read, deleted or whatever, 7 more came in. Of these 66 letters, at least half or more of them had not only the reply, but the entire original letter, which makes downloading time even longer. Can't those people learn how to send just their reply without the excessive baggage of the original letter? I notice many come on time after time, sometimes not more than 10 minutes from their first letter. One person had 13 letters this morning, one had 6, and many had several. Obviously they do not have much to do, to sit at their computer all day long, writing letters. So why not learn how to send mail correctly? They obviously have the time to do so. OK, Rain the letters on me telling me to delete :-) Lynne
Guest guest
I would be happy to do as you suggested if I knew how. Can someone give instructions over the typewriter? Would appreciate it. Guess somebody else would too. Ha Ha. COCO Mo. Guest guest
<< So why not learn how to send mail correctly? They obviously have the time to do so. >> One thing that I think could help is, try reading your own mail....see what it looks like after you have sent it. Some of the mail we get on here has so many headers on it that I hardly ever want to take the time to scroll down to the actual letter. A lot of folks send things out twice! I am sure they don't mean to but, it happens. LOL! Then there is that one person who send their mail in very small text, or in colored background! On AOL if you get on letter like that.... it makes all of them do that ( colored background, tiny text) and when you are in the middle of reading all these letters it's a pain to have to shut down and back out and figure out where the heck you are in the list so you can set it to rights again. But please don't quit sending all the mail I don't care who it's for.. I love to hear everything. ( guess if it's personal. I like it cause I'm nosey ) Raine
