Guest guest
: I am taking Klonopin for RLS, too. Can you describe your memory loss. I am wondering how long and severe the drug can affect memory. It makes sense that if the drug slows down the central nervous system, it would affect some brain function. I only take Klonopin at night, but feel like I'm operating at less than peak performance at work. Sometimes I feel like I lose command over my vocabulary or have loss of concentration, and bad short term memory. I don't know if it's stress, residual Klonopin, sleep deprevation, or age (i'm 32 and pray it's not because I killed too many brain cells in college!). I just subscribed to the board the other day and I have seen alot of people talking about Sinemet (which I think is a different classification of drug than Klonopin-a benzodiazaphine (sp?) I want to get off prescription drugs altogether. Recommendations about herbal remedies for RLS are appreciated. The info provided re: vitamins and herbs for memory loss was helpful, but in my case I would rather treat the primary disorder, not the side effects. Thanks!
