Lamar here,

It is my understanding that our bones are not weaker. BUT, our muscles are.

Muscles help hold bones in place and cushion them. We twist joints more, turn

ankles more, and fall more. This combined with the lack of muscle protection

makes us more prone to fractures. The skeletal structure without adequate

support is fairly weak in itself.

Re: bones/doctors

I'm 69yrs of age and have never had a broken bone except when the doctors

broke it to fuse my ankle. Actually they sawed & chiseled it. I have fell

down flights of stairs several times, along with the falling from the weak

ankles, etc. I attribute the toughness of the bones to all the milk I drink.
