Dear Jack,

(For anyone else reading this, take it all with a sense of humor.)

Heck, Jack, I'm just honored that you're still talking to me.

Someone who saw your letter, earlier (before I got to read it in the Digest

Version) wrote to me and asked " Is Jack upset with you? He didn't even add

a smiley face or LOL in his letter. "

I assured her you omit those on purpose, just to get my goat.

I remember that you wrote about QVC, but I thought you had to watch the

channel and get it off there. I'm a computer addict, not a shopping

channel addict. Please excuse my ignorance on the finer points of shopping

by television. Since then, with the help of another group member, I've

found the QVC website http://www.qvc.com and searched for " massager " and

found the TherapistSelect from Homedics...what I fondly call the " chumper " .

Besides, I think I'd already bought my Thumper when you sent that email.

I seem to remember terribly resenting the fact that your email came so

late. *smirk* AND....the whole point of my " discoveries " today, was to

figure out whether the two machines were equally effective. My super

scientific experiment just served to reinforce YOUR wonderful thrifty tip,

by assuring people that the Homedic version was as good or probably even

better. You're right. I bow to you. I definitely handed over my money

too quickly this time....before the research was all done. But ya ain't

getting a dime off me, Jack. I'm too cheap and WAY too proud.

Besides...I ALWAYS read mail from you. It's just that there are way too

few of them and I have a hard time remember back to the last one. Don't

forget, I'm the one that can't remember to not put unleaded fuel in my

husband's diesel truck.
