Dr's Reaction to rls question

Hi group - Just wanted to share this. I developed severe back and thigh pain

Sunday morning. Monday, I saw an orhopedist. After the exam ( he welcomed

me to middle age and said I have degernerative disc disease) I asked him if

he had heard of rls. He asked " Do you think you have it? " I told him I know

I have it. He then began to tell me about a dog he had once that had rls...I

knew then what was coming...the dog dreamed and moved his legs. I dropped

the discussion and left when I got my prescriptions. I have to go back next

week and plan to take some info to this character. You know, if he would

discard his attitude and educate himself, he could probably help a lot of

people.
