Guest guest
Hello all, I have another question! Does anyone have any experience with Diabetes Type II that also has CMT? I am not diabetic (yet), but my mother is and it has a strong family history on her side. I have CMT, it's from my dad's side... am just wondering if anyone out there has both? if so, do they complicate each other? I know Diabetes can actually lead to charcot foot (not the same as cmt, I know). Just wondering! Like I said, don't have the problem (yet), and I try not to waste too much energy on what MIGHT come, but it's always good to get a little extra info! Thanks in advance Kate

Guest guest
<< I have another question! Does anyone have any experience with Diabetes Type II that also has CMT? >> I do not have diabetes, but I do know of a number of CMTers who do. It is a difficult combination because both cause some of the same pain symptoms and it seems to be difficult for people to tell which is causing their pain. Diabetics are also supposed to exercise a lot, not always easy for CMTers. Good luck keeping away from it! Kat
