Hi , Hi Jodi and all the group

I'm , 56, from Italy.

I'm following this group since a few week. I would like now to join the

group actively.

I thank you all for the info you are sharing on RLS subject.

Please forget my bad english... I didn't intervene before now mainly because

of that.

BTW, there are two things that I can exchange to start my participation to

the group:

1. RLS and Hot Weather

Since fifteen years at least I'm observing a significant change of RLS

symptoms with the incoming of the hot season.

Main difference is at night.

From mid-September to mid-May my sleeping at night is arranged with cycles

of two ours with some 15 minutes interval between cycles. From mid-May to

mid-September things make worst, and quite soon my sleeping time is reduced

to two ours when I go to bed and the time I can concede myself (usually one

or two ours) after six in the morning.

Of course I recuperate on occasion of holydays and week-ends.

This condition has been precise " as a swiss clock " (as we say), precise to

the minute I mean, for at least ten years.

It became a little less precise after a cycle of homeopatic therapy I had

some year ago... but this is another story I will share with you in another

occasion.

2. RLS and smoking

I too I suffer RLS when I go to a movie, a concert, sitting to the

restaurant awaiting for the dish, etc.

What I do in such events is to get off and smoke a sigarette. It works 90%

of times (to me).

Any one of you experienced the same effect ?

Cheers

Giorgio, 56, Italy
