Guest guest
It helps to mention the ADA in your letter someplace and call your RLS a disability, under the American's with Disabilities Act. I get priority seating because I use a serve/assistance dog, but as I also have RLS, I have to get up a lot and have lots of leg room for the dog and me. I usually am placed at the bulkhead with an empty seat beside me if possible... and an aisle seat is my preference so I don't have to step me and the dog over someone else's feet is the bulkhead is 3-4 seats wide. It helps also to call the airlines in advance and notify them of your condition and needs. They will bump other's seating for your needs if the other person has not specified needs specifically, except for preferences.
