of the peripheal nerve while doing the search i learned alot and

started realizing that i to have some of these symptoms so i went to

my doc. and asked him to send me to my dau. neuroligist for emg and

ncv testing well i had the test yesterday and i have cmt type 2 which

variation is unknown my peroneal nerve from my knee to my foot is

completly dead and the muscle by my ankle is gone (atrophy) it was a

surprise to me that it was this bad and i did not realize it i am 37

years old my brothers feet are worse than mine and he has knee

problems also my sister has symptoms but in her arms and hands worse

than her legs and feet the neuro. wants to see all my family to check

them he was a little surprised when he could not get any signals in

the peroneal nerve and that the muscle was athropied don,t know what

this means since the test my feet and lower legs have been acting

funny lot of spasms and tingling is this normal he did say that type

2 was more rare than type 1 i would like to hear from anyone with

type 2 or any other type that could give me some insite on what to

exspect in the coming days even though i knew what the test results

was going to be it was quite a shock that i had cmt type 2 but i will

cope with it and learn how to keep myself going for as long as i can

thanks for listerning hope this wasn,t to long
