Guest guest
Hi Everyone: I live in Northeast Pa. and at this moment almost every school in my area, elementary on up, is under a bomb scare. All the schools have been evacuated and they are going in sweeping them for devices. Schools have been dismissed, and as we all know, most of those children are going home to empty houses. Sadly enough, to survive now, it almost always takes both parents working. An incidence like this brings home how sad these times really are. I don't know if there is an answer to what makes children do horrific things such as this. (I'm assuming it is young people) Perhaps it's time that Littleton be left to deal with their tragedy, and hopefully totally flush out anyone responsible for those senseless acts. But for the rest of the nation I believe we need to stop the feeding frenzy of the news media, and maybe not lead one more person to believe that this is the way to leave their mark for some self-consuming cause. Hopefully what is happening here now will not end in dire results. I have quite a few of my grandchildren in school, and I've not breathed an easy breath since this hit the news. Hoping for a peaceful day for all of you. Louise - 58 - Sunny but troubled N. E. Pa.
