Hi Marleen and All,

Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night, and my nose is so

stuffed up I can hardly breath. (side effect of Mirapex?) I have

discovered that a herbal tea called Gypsy Cold Remedy really does help

- maybe just the steam, but it does the job. Of course the side effect

of that is having to take a potty break soon afterward, which gets me

up again, so sometimes I just stay up until that is accomplished!

BTW, my husband has been on my case to switch from Mirapex to Neurotin,

because a doctor friend told him that Mirapex is hard on the liver. I

had tried Neuortin way back (actually the first thing I ever took for

rls), and it worked, sort of, for a while, then stopped. Not sure what

to do at this point. Legs have been pretty good lately, and I hate to

rock the boat, but liver damage is not an attractive option!

Any suggestions?
