When I posted earlier today about not finding studies showing cognitive

decline due to use of benzodiapines, I was mainly talking about irreversible

decline from long

term chronic use. Actually I believe there are many studies showing some

temporary

short term memory loss after taking this class of drugs. I know when I had my

hernia operation they gave me 10 mg of valium (alot) just before and I totally

don't

remember the operation, even tho it was done as a " local " .
