Over and over and over. And I believe this would work in a bathtub as well as anywhere else. I don't have the crawly sensations or the " brush " either. I find it all so interesting that our symptoms are so varied. As I read the groups mail daily and find so very few (I remember 2 other group members with exploding knees ), I wonder if what I really experience is RLS. And everything I have read - from the Drs. here on the support group to on the internet and in news clips about RLS, exploding knees is not mentioned. Mmmm. What ties me to RLS the most I guess is the uncontrollable need to MOVE my legs, to stretch, to pound and the wakeful times when I should be sleeping when this is going on.
