Guest guest
Kathy, Just read your e-mail and wholeheartedly agree with a lot of what you are feeling. I have had three surgeries in the past 5 years, the last one being a total knee replacement. The RLS got a little worse after each one but seemed to hit a new high after the knee. I have been on the DHA/neuromins for three weeks now, and it has really helped. I am a retired nurse practitioner, but don't want any of the anti-parkinsonian drugs if I can help it, because of their side effects..........which you mentioned. So I am trying, instead, to stick to non-Rx stuff. Am taking, besides the DHA, 1000 mg of calcium, 500 mg of magnesium, a heavy duty B-complex, 45 mg of zinc, a Vit C/iron combo, and Rutin 50 mg. With this I can live with the legs. The symptoms aren't gone, but are bearable. The sleep, however, is another story........................... And this is where my doc won't help! Hang in there and keep plugging away. Sooner or later you will hit on a good regimen and, God willing, things will be better. am, 76, Tucson ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
