Guest guest
I use a " chelated " calcium/magnesium supplement, which actually lessens my rls and helps me sleep better. I don't know exactly what " chelated " means but I know that there are half a dozen different forms of calcium that you can buy. Maybe the rls-worsening properties of some calcium/magnesium supplements have more to do with the type of supplement you are taking than with the mineral itself. I know my vitamins carry a statement about what is used to bind the pills together, so people with food allergies can make an informed decision about whether to take those vitamins or not. Especially for older women like me, getting enough calcium is important. If you can't take supplements, please make sure you are eating enough calcium rich food.
