RLS: Rutin

Charlene...

I started taking the Rutin last Saturday. I haven't notice any changes at

all...in anything. The only possible difference is that I've been watching

the " time of the month " and trying to determine if the 2-3 really bad days

I have once in a while are possibly tied to my cycle. According to the

last few months, that means I should have had a real bad time of it last

weekend. I didn't. Who knows? Maybe I wasn't going to, anyhow.

I'm taking a 250mg Rutin tablet each night (KAL brand). I'm also taking a

B-150 pill with it. This has five B vitamins, including 150 mg of B-2. I

mention this because the lady who wrote into the Saturday Evening Post,

said she took a nightly dose of 500mg of Rutin and 25mg of B2. Hmmmmm....I

just reread the letter she wrote and realized I'm only taking half the

Rutin her doctor recommended. Might just add another.

Hope that answers your questions.

Meanwhile...I've been taking Neuromins, which is a vegetarian source of

DHA, since last October. I'm beginning to swear by it. Every month, my

RLS is getting less and less noticable and more manageable when it does

show up. am started taking it last week, and noticed some positive

results, too. If you're out there and reading this, am...how about an

update? The Neuromins doesn't make it go away overnight, but it sure seems

to be providing something my body needs, which helps it not have such bad

or frequent RLS.

If anyone wants more info in this, I'll be happy to send it along

privately. SEveral people in the group have tried it, but I don't think

many others had good results. We all know that could be for many reasons.

I think most of them actually used DHA (fish oil) which isn't quite the

same thing. The jury is still out. :)
