Guest guest Posted February 17, 1999 Report Share Posted February 17, 1999 This is from an email sent by Dr. Levin, sometime last year, regarding Sinimet: " Sinemet is still a good starting medication for RLS as long as the dose is kept under 300 mg/day. What dosage and strength did your physician advise you to take? It does have some side effects but they vary from person to person and can not be predicted. As far as we know, it does not cause harm but can aggravate RLS if too much is taken, so-called " augmentation. " Augmentation is unusual under 300 mg/day. " Hope the info helps....
