RLS: causes of low ferritin

Diane asked what might cause low ferritin levels. I know VERY little on

this subject. I just wanted to share a tidbit from Virginia 's book.

On page 150 of " Sleep Thief " , it mentions that people who are taking

drugs for arthritis are prone to low " iron status " .

I don't know what " low iron status " really means, but I just thought this

might suggest that it's even more important to to check into your ferritin

levels if you are using drugs for arthritis.
