That is all SS cares about. So, why not call your local SS office and ask for their booklet about it, then if you can't work anymore, start the paperwork. It is taking longer to get approved now for SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance) - like up to 2 years. Somewhere I was surfing the SS site one day and I did see CMT listed there as a 'condition'.
