Guest guest
Gang, Re the foods that aggravate RLS, I have only identified once where food seemed to be involved. I had been off of caffiene for several weeks and had thought that it probably made no difference and was considering adding tea back. One day at work (It was around Christmas) someone brought in a huge plate of home made fudge (the old fashioned kind) and left it right outside my office on a table. During the course of the day I must have had at least ten pieces. (Maybe more, it was a big plate.) That evening, I had one of the worse episodes of RLS in a long time. I kept thinking, what have I done? I'm not upset, everything is OK, this is not typical. Then it hit, fudge has caffiene in it. I really think it was the fudge plus caffiene. For the record, I have starting having a cup of hot tea in the morning again, but otherwise no caffiene. Can't say I would pass up fudge if someone put a plate of it in front of me, however. Some people in the group have mentioned sugar, maybe it was the combination. writes: > I would appreciate hearing from others on the list as to what foods seem to > aggravate your RLS.
