Guest guest
Hi , I'm from central Ontario, not that it matters how CPP will treat you, from one province to another. My dad applied for disability due to hearing impairment, and it was red tape on top of more red tape. It took the better part of last year to finally get him approved. Get ready for lots of doctor's evaluations, lots of forms, money and more money, long periods between correspondence from gov't and load up on patience. I found that if you are after them at least once a week, your file remains on the surface and not sent back to the bottom; this tends to happen, alot. I can't recall, exactly, where you're from, Alberta (?), but it can't be that much different than good ol' Ontario. As for the Canadian cold, for me the bones/joints hurt when outside, but RLS is ok. Maybe because it's so cold, I jump around trying to keep warm, thus instant solution to RLS. LOL :-) :-) Take care and good luck with CPP (no sarcasm) :-) Ana Casinha, 34 Woodbridge, Ont.
