Guest guest
Hi Everybody, IMO,the affirmation coming from alternative MDs that the meds you are taken counteract the beneficial effect of their method is iniquitous. Pay attention, it is possible that next time when you'll go free of meds and the treatment is still not functionning ==> It will be your fault, since your " psyschism " refuses to be heeled!!! More seriously, it is obvious that the patient will not be able to perceive a beneficial effect if he/she is under massive meds doses. On the other hand, he/she should be able the recognize any beneficial effect when under minimal doses, just necessary to control (more or less) the symptoms. And the ingestion of only minimal doses is a good trend for chronic afflictions. In such occasion, my wife says always: Is it not amazing that as a matter of fact, I perceive always the detrimental effects (usually headaches, nausea,..) of such therapies but would not be able to perceive the beneficial effects ? BTW, quinine is sometimes used as muscle relaxant against leg cramps but has no beneficial effect for RLS sensu stricto as defined in http://www.rls.org the addresses mentioned below give information for quinine/leg cramps http://www.firsthomehealth.com/MI15.htm http://www.infopoems.com/POEMs/JC079502.htm healthier sleep wish you Bernard, 48, Switzerland ---------------------------------- >At 12,01 10.05.99 -0600, you wrote: >..... she treats me with >needles for RLS. Guest guest
Thanks you for the information on quinine. Obviously I must take the sheets I printed out from your contacts to my doctor and get something else. I am treated for my nighttime RLS, it is the residual daytime RLS (swinging leg, tapping foot, etc.) symptoms that I need ehlp with. For night time I use Vicoden ES, Sinemet, and Klonopin (2mg AM and PM).
