Guest guest
Ok my knee has been hurting and weak for a month or more. I am trying not to use it much. Today I have to go to get Adam's new orthotics. Now they should have been done 2 weeks ago. The guy said 5 days he would have them done. Well I didn't want to be pushy so when he called last week and told me to be in his office on Tuesday at 9 A.M I was greatful they were done. Jase my 3 yr old slept in of all mornings. I had to wake his cranky self up, get him dressed and fed, fighting him all the way unable to man~handle him becasuse of my knee. When he cries he throws up another thing I had to avoid. So I am 15 minutes late for the appt only to have them tell me I didn't have an appt. He acted like the conversation we had never happened. Making it seem that I was the crazy one. I told him word for word what he said to me then he remembers that but still dosen't remember he said for me to come in. He also forgot about the discount he was going to give me if I paid cash. Then they tell me they won't bill my insurance company so I have to pay cash. What a pain! I come home call my ins company they call the orthotist tell them to bill no problem they will pay at 100% no letter from the DR. is needed. I was on the other line to hear all this it was all in my favor. Not good enough for this place they want a letter of medical necessity from my Dr. to send to the Ins company. To bad my Dr. is in the hospital with a triple by pass surgery! I finally told him I would pay cash if he would PLEASE just bill the insurance company and pay me back. After that I go to the car wash to relax while the car is being washed and guess what! I am outta checks. On a better note Spencer was approved for SSI. I had to go to every appeal and request he see a nero but it was worth it. I should hear from the SSI office in a few months. jenny
