Guest guest
Hi there, I am new to the group and have not been diagnosed with CMT yet but my brother (dwnestr) has been recently diagnosed. I am going in July to a neurologist to have the EMG nerve conduction test. I have lived with what I thought was fibromyalgia for about 8 years now. So my mind has been adjusted for a chronic condition of pain and tiredness. I was able to pace myself and do what I could when I could. My concern is that will I be able to adjust my brain again to something a little more serious than fibro. With fibro I never had to worry about degeneration but with CMT that is all different. There is degeneration and worsening of symptoms. So, will I be able to continue what I have been doing (when I thought I had fibro) with CMT??? Thank you for any thoughts. Thanks, Cindy
