Guest guest
, Lamar here It's a setting in Outlook Express. I use email for some things that I need confirmation it has been received. If you use Outlook Express, go to Tools>Options>Receipts for the setting. When you click yes on the receipt request I get an email that it has been opened It does not assure me that you read it. If you delete without viewing I get one that says not viewed. Its almost like certified mail and a confirmation that you did get it. You can set your receipt setting to always send a receipt or never send one (ask is the default setting). Since I get so many questions about it, I have turned it off and will try to remember to turn it on when I really need confirmation. Re: What happened??? Why do your messages ask for recipts??' ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ www. .com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
