I agree, most people are kind and friendly, given a chance. I don't think we

can be too careful, if we want to avoid breaking bones or falling flat.

Handrails or an arm are a must for me on stairs now, too. I remember a few

years ago when I could run up stairs 2 and sometimes 3 at a time. It's hard

for me to believe now. Learning to accept and adjust to our changes is vital.

There is still a lot we can do, even if it's different from before. I used to

travel, now I have international internet friends who come to me via the

internet, and a few have actually come to Seattle, too, from as far away as

Holland and Japan!!!
