Guest guest
Becky, I experience a range of sensations, from creepy crawlies to aches and pain when its at its worse. I dont know what the official explanation is but its almost like my legs and arms fight the creepy crawlies for so long that they exhaust themselves and thus the pain...who knows. The hydrocodone or codeine in a lot of mentioned medications affects the entire body by 'numbing' it. I dont know that the sensations are actually lessened but my body's ability to detect them is. As a result, for me anyway, if my body isn't sensing it as strongly, it stops trying to control it so my muscles (and therefore my mind) relaxes. I wish there were something better out there....but compared to some of the stronger meds recommended, I feel most comfortable with this. I have found recently, that if I catch it in time, normal old Tylenol can take the edge off. If it doesn't, then I know I need to try the Lortab (Tylenol, hydrocodone). Doing this, helps me gauge the level of pain and cuts down on the amount of narcotics I'm taking in. I don't know if any of this has been helpful but its one person's experience. ) , 25, Arkansas
