Joyce, I've had CMT since childhood and never broken a bone. I don't

like doctors much and try to stay away from them when possible. Except I

have a very low pain threshold. I had enough Doctors poking,prodding and

pushing as a kid. I pretty much stick to my Internist for whatever I

need. Just in the last few months had to consult with others regarding

my aching hip. When I'm having a good year, I just see a Dr. once a year

for the annual physical.
