Well, you have to look at it just like they say about smoking/weight gain.

Yes, you stop smoking (good) but you will probably gain weight (bad); but the

good from stopping smoking outweighs the bad from the weight gain.

I realize that's not helpful, but from my own

experience very true. The problem I have is taking it

off because usually it's the metabolism that's

affected and slowed down considerably. I've

rationalized that the extra weight I could live with

if the medications were of benefit to my symptoms.
