Guest guest
<< My worst attacks were - - a t my first Broadway play - at a concert - in highschool at a meeting - on a flight from >> This got me to thinking how much RLS has affected (negatively) my life. I don't fly, I don't go to concerts/plays/movies, I don't go to " meetings " where I have to sit for a long time (including long church services), I don't do trips unless I am the driver and can stop whenever I want to, etc........ I only go to events/meetings and such where I KNOW that I can get up and leave/take a break whenever I need to or meetings where you stand most of the time. If and when I go to an event, e.g. hockey game, I ALWAYS make sure that I get a seat on the isle. Before my RLS diagnosis, I thought I had social anxiety syndrome or agoraphobia or something. Looking back on it, it all makes since now. I could not " stand " being " cornered " or " locked-in " somewhere. My " restlessness " is understandable now. These things might initially seem rather " trivial " to some people but they are not. RLS effects/affects our lives in many many more ways than " simply " difficulty falling asleep. RAINBOWPED@...
