-Hi!

Yes, I have had the same feeling in my hands. But I recently had survery on

my neck to repair vertebras. They had to go in and take vertebra out and

replace it with bone from my hip. I had a huge spur and also one vertebra

was half closed on my spinal chord. I don't know if it had something to do

with the spur or what but since the operation I don't have that electric

feeling in my fingers anymore. I noticed it more when I was in the shower

and would touch the facets to turn on or shut the water off.

Have a GREAT DAY!

I forgot to mention that I also have walked on the sides of my feet since I

can remember. I have always worn the sides of shoes off.

Hi, ...

Yep, I have the " electric shock " feelings, but they are in my toes. I am also

starting to walk on the outside edges of my feet as you say you do. My toes

are pulled back and curled under at the same time and I have pain in my feet

almost all the time. But, I still love sunsets, romance, football games, my

family, Libertarian politics, great cigars, single malt scotches, strong

coffee, my cat Ella, great music, challenging literature, and lovely women.

And speaking of family ... I am going on a houseboat trip with the entire

<< What is kind of funny or wierd is several times a day my index finger

feels like I

have stuck my finger into an electric socket or I have been hit by a small

bolt of lightning !!!??? >>

I know the feeling too, but I only have it in my toes/feet/legs, so far.

Jolting, isn't it! Very painful. It always causes me to jump or jerk.

Sorry I don't have a solution to suggest. Various meds have helped various

people. Often the meds cause drowsiness, so a person has to decide if the

side effects are worth the amount of relief. I don't take anything for mine

at this point, and I've lived with it for about 5 years. Mine have morphed

into wrenching spasms part of the time. No less painful, just different.

I'm trying to think of something cheery to end with!

When P.T. Barnum was running his museum in New York, he found that people

would pay admission and stay for hours, drifting from room to room, thus

preventing newcomers from getting in. He therefore placed a sign over a door

and patrons, expecting a new curiosity, went through the door in droves and,

before they knew it, found themselves out in the street.

The sign read:

TO THE EGRESS.

From Humorous Anecdotes about Famous People by C. Henry, published

1948.
