Guest guest
Dear Group, There are a group of people from this list who are going to be working with the sound pillow, during the next few weeks, to see if they can use it as a tool to get to sleep. In the process of trying out the pillows, they will also be trying to apply very basic self hypnosis techniques. Whether you use a sound pillow or earphones, the same techniques and thinking will apply. I've written up some thoughts, suggestions, and guidelines for making music (with a pillow OR with earphones) work as a tool to get to sleep, even during RLS attacks. If you are interested, I posted them for viewing on my RLS website. You can access it from the main page (go right to the last link on the page), or you can go right to the page with the music tips: http://www.netzone.com/~gunzel/musictips.html I know the techniques will not work for everyone. Many have already tried and discovered it will not work for them, for one reason or another. PLEASE, do not feel badly if it doesn't work for you. We each find our own therapies. This is just one that has worked for me, and I've taken the time to analyze how I've used it and applied it, so I might help others use it, too. I just hope something on the website becomes the jem that helps someone out there get more sleep.
