Guest guest
Joanne... In stark contrast to you, I only have RLS to deal with. Thank God. BUT, the part of your symtoms that you think sound like RLS, sure do sound like RLS. As for the waking up with it...that's very possible. I often have it first thing in the morning and it's WHY I get out of bed...because it will just get worse if I try lying there. It also hits after I've woken to go to the bathroom during the night...starting as soon as I get in the bathroom. Keep in mind, that other medications may be causing some of your RLS symptoms, too. Has it gotten worse after starting certain meds?? If pounding your legs seems to help, then go with that idea and find a healthy alternative...like deep massage. I used to think massage didn't work for me, but then when I told had my husband try the base of his hand and use it like a rolling pin up and down my thighs...THAT worked! HEY, did you ever try a rolling pin? Good luck, Jill, 46 Payson, AZ http://www.netzone.com/~gunzel/rls.html
