Mirapex and Permax, for Muriel

Murial, I sort of go back and forth between the two, because they seem to quit

working after a while and when I switch to the other it is sort of like a

fresh start.

Roughly, the Permax is about twice as strong as Mirapex on a mg for mg basis

and

in my experience can be interchanged. However I usually taper from one to the

other

over a couple of days--the other day I went straight from .5 mg Mirapex to .25

mg Permax and got pretty sick, altho it was sort lived--in an hour or two I

felt OK.

I prefer Mirapex because it dosen't make me feel as bad, and adding one tablet

of 25/100 sinemet to the witches brew (Mirapex or Permax) seems to work best.

I'm

going to try Requipt next.
