I had to have minor surgery on my lip on Monday. After the surgery the doctor gave me medicine for the pain. The medicine is called Anaprox. I believe it is an anti-inflamatory. Well I took this medicine every 8 hours during Monday, and incredibly I had the best nights sleep I have had in years. >> Yes, I had a similar experience too. I was prescribed Indocin (NSAID drug) for a shoulder injury and it also seemed to really help my RLS along with Permax/Ambien. Coincidence? I enjoyed the unexpected RLS relief so much that I was taking the Indocin routinely right along with my RLS meds. Unfortunately, the Indocin started hurting my stomach so I had to quit for awhile. Also, it might be important to note that Anaprox/Indocin and other NSAID's can cause drowsiness as a side effect. RAINBOWPED@...

Guest guest
Louise, I had the same experience while taking an anti-inflamatory for back spasms. No rls whatsoever. Was told that I shouldn't keep on taking it however, because of nasty long term side effects, so of course now that the back is better (thank God) the rls is back. Advil doesn't seem to help me at all- probably not heavy duty enough. Whoever it was that said life is one big trade-off sure had it right! ne, 59, Lawrenceville, NJ ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
