Guest guest
Okay guys, here's two tid bits for ya. I've had very little experience with pain, related to RLS...except a year ago, when it led me to join this group. I started taking vitamins and mineral supplements, and in went away. Not sure whether they were directly related or not, but I tend to attribute it to the folic acid, which I'd never taken before. So...that probably won't help much. BUT...when I read Connie's letter about her excruciating thigh pain, it reminded me of my mother who has complained bitterly of thigh pain, in the last 6 months. Says it especially gets her at night...wakes her up. Doctors haven't a clue. BUT....are you ready for this? It's an old topic around here, so take it or leave it...no need to argue. She tried magnets on it. Not sure if it's a strap on kind or some that stick on. But she said it's the only thing that's helped, and the pain is gone. Go figure. Magnets for purposes like this are available all over the place. I saw a bunch at Walgreens...next to the Homedics Percussion Massager (chumper). They are also in lots of home health catalogues. No need to spend a fortune on expensive ones. Jill, 46 Payson, AZ http://www.netzone.com/~gunzel/rls.html
