Guest guest
Hi all. I was reading about the feet and hands stories and thought I would add my own two cents. I had hammer toes when I was born. Around the age of 20 a podiatrist I was seeing operated on them. Some of the things he did was to cut some tendons to release the toes and remove some small bones that were mangled. He also said that I didn't have the full compliment of bones in my feet. The operation helped insofar as I don't have to walk on my bent over toes. The way I walk is that I sort lean toward the outside edges. I remember as a kid that I used to wear down the heels of my shoes on the outside edges. When I was in highschool, some insensitive clods used to walk behind me a " quack " like a duck implying that that was they way I appeared to them. Needless to say, that my years in highschool weren/t among my favorite. I do not miss seeing anyone from highschool and I have never gone to a reunion even though my 30th was two years ago. The last year or so, my hands have been paining me quite a bit. What is kind of funny or wierd is several times a day my index finger feels like I have stuck my finger into an electric socket or I have been hit by a small bolt of lightning !!!??? Sometimes I feel it when I am touching something and sometimes not. Anybody else have this? Great comments from everyone as usual.
