You mentioned Depakote worked for your legs. Lindy, You mentioned that you took Depakote for prevention of migraines, but you only took it for a week. What really interested me is that your neuro told you to stop taking Premarin. I have long suspected that Premarin has been a major cause of my migraines. I should mention that I had a total hysterectomy when I was 29 in 1985. That is when my migraines really started, and of course, that is when I started taking Premarin. Through the years, I have gone on and off of it, over and over again. I am now off of it, despite the arguments of my primary doc.She said she gives Premarin to her mother, and she gets migraines, but just told her the headaches would go away, eventually. I do not like that answer. What exactly did your neuro say about taking Premarin?? I am going to ask mine as soon as I get to him. I figure if Depakote can help with the RLS AND migraines, it is worth a shot. Is it very expensive? I guess my only consideration is the bruising. I bruise easily anyway, probably because of my doctor's love of Prednisone for my asthma. I take the Prednisone only when I am at the point of no airflow, and then do the slow taper thing.
