Guest guest
From: Curley gcsb@... Hi Folks, I'm baaaaaaack!! We were left without power for nine days. From an ice storm. Some of our friends went eleven days. I've heard some people say they were born a hundred years too late! Not me. Too early if anything. Hauling in wood for the fireplace, and tending the fire every hour for nine days got really old. BUT, no RLS during those nine days. A quick question. I just recently contacted Diane in VA. She tells me she is under the care of her Family Doctor, who works with her using the info she gets off RLS.org etc. How many of the group are under the care of a GP vice a neurologist? Also, I assume she is sending me to the Neurologist to eliminate secondary causes. Once RLS (plain and simple) has been diagnosed by the Neurologist, is there any reason to continue seeing one, if my Family Doctor will work with me? Thanks for any responses, and talk to ya'll later. /49/VA.
Guest guest
Nope I don't think I've ever been to a neurologist. My nurse practitioneer with cooperation from staff doctors at the VA takes care of my RLS along with other problems. She looks to me for up to date info on RLS medications and lets me lead. Cheers!
