Hello out there-

YES!!! to the question of barefeet- I love to walk in bare feet- especially

in the warmer weather- now it is just too cold for my poor feet- they tend

to freeze even in the summer time. I am one of those people who would

prefer not to have to wear anything on my feet! I will have to try the rice

in the socks for my poor cold feet.

My feet get so cold that I normally wear 2-3 pairs of socks in the

wintertime just to keep them wear- plus thinsulate boots- any one have a

better way to keep them warm at work- I am a teacher so I can not get to

heat up heating pads every 30minutes or so.. Thanks alot, I appreciate any

ideas that might help.

You should order those battery warmed socks and gloves. How do you move

around with 3 pair of socks?

Hi Jill -- I, too, am a barefoot walker -- I can feel the ground/floor and

am more sure of what my feet are doing than when they are encased in

thick-soled shoes!

I have not personally tried them, but I've seen ads for socks that are

battery warmed. I think the REI, possibly Land's End or Eddie Bauer might

carry them, or any store which sells survival, mountain-climbing or outdoor

wear. Just a thought.
