Guest guest
THE MAIN QUESTION: WHAT IS A GOOD WAY TO WEAN OFF PROZAC? hi to Jill C and anyone with Prozac familiarity. The worst attacks of RLS I had ever had were coming off Prozac last summer. My family doctor put me back on it and gave me Sinemet CR for when the RLS really acts up. It got better, but he didn't want to take me off Prozac. Dr. Levin and others suggest Prozac is detrimental to RLS and I tend to agree. I have an appointment with my neurologist/sleep disorder specialist on March 9. I want to get off Prozac because my RLS really is getting worse again. And evidentally my legs jerk all night even when I am supposedly asleep. And it seems that my depression (and high blood pressure) might be caused from just plain lack of sleep due to these and the narcolepsy. So I thought I would try to wean off prozac before then to see what happens. Thanks everyone.... in Nevada
