Guest guest
Have finished reading the book, and it will soon be on its way to Ana. My reaction is that ( a very sweet looking 76 year old) has documented a vast collection of disorders, one or many of which he says cause rls. He describes no less than 53 diseases, mainly to do with the cardio-vascular system. He says rls will be cured only when the underlying condition(s) is cured. Most of them sound worse than rls, from a life threatening point of view, but for some reason are subtle enough to avoid diagnosis by a routine physical. The exercises are stretching, yoga types, and of course the life style suggestions are to not smoke, abstain from alcohol and caffeine, avoid fat and too much protein, and establish regular sleep habits! HELLO--if my sleep habits were regular, I wouldn't have a problem! Maybe someone with a medical background could derive some useful information from the info he provides, and if anyone else has read the book (Don), you may have a different take on it. His bottom line is, cure the underlying disorder, and rid the muscles of the toxins that build up during use by controlled exercises. Well, I'm off to maintain my regular sleep habits, which means I'll be back on-line at 2 A.M., or thereabouts! ne, 59, Lawrenceville, NJ _____________________________________________________________
