No preceding symptoms to speak of, just sudden onset of pain, then diarrhea, then bleeding which lasted two days. So for those of you out there that find that Ibuprofen, Alieve, or the other prescription NSAI's help your pain, please be careful. They are notorious for causing ulcers and bleeding. I went several months with only Tylenol for pain, but last time I saw my physician he said I could use Ibuprofen, but carefully and not for many days at a time. (I took the Relefan every day for four months before the bleed.) Jo from Mo PS, redheads are know to have a tendency to bleed easier.
