Guest guest
Cheryl & Jodi, I like your ideas about using descriptive subject lines and inserting key words at the start of the subject line. Key words are used on some other newsgroups I subscribe to and it helps a lot. It does seem to work better the more often the list (as a part of the list's FAQ) is published; I think Connie's idea of once a week (at least for awhile) is an appropriate interval. The list you suggested is a good start; I would suggest we add MEDIA: for discussion of media coverage of RLS. TECH: for technical aspects of the newsgroup. For example the recent threads on " getting rid of << " and " lines through words... Hmm, maybe " COMP: " ? INTRO: or BIO: for newbies (or others) giving a general history of their RLS and its impact on their life. RES: research on any aspect of RLS. We can always add new key words. Maybe some further description of each key word would help clarify usage. No system is foolproof, but this sounds like a good start. The most important thing will be for us to stick as close as possible to any system we decide on.
