Guest guest
Hey all! Yes, sugar has aggravated my RLS, but not all sugar foods. If I eat something heavily " laced " with sugar at night between supper and bedtime, then my legs will bother me. But like others of you, I think keeping good records is a good idea because right now I cannot tell you all the sugar foods that have aggravated my RLS - ice cream and heavy pastries just recently. I also don't know if the sugar affected the RLS or my sleep because the ice cream also seemed to affect my ability to go to sleep. What I'm trying to say is that did the sugar affect my ability to go to sleep then the RLS set in or vice versa. So records are good. I just talked with my mother who lives a couple of hours away and keeps up with my RLS - she has burning feet from neuropathy. She had talked recently to a lady who said she had the worst restless knees and was told to try tonic water. She told mother that she tried it (with lemon as she did not like it straight) and had the best night's sleep in a long time. I can't remember who wrote the group about tonic water. If my mail containing those discussions are gone (I'll let you know), will whoever knew about it re-send it? I want to try it. Thanks. Lynn Ga.
